If you’re interested in becoming a lifeguard, a Junior Member, or a General Member please contact the club, or alternatively come out to the Ruakaka Surf Lifesaving Patrol on any weekend from Labour Weekend to Easter.

Your membership fee helps to run your Club. Generally these fees contribute to you gaining further awards, social activities and all the equipment you are entitled to use as a Club member.

You are also an affiliated member of SLS Northern Region and SLSNZ.
Applications for active patrol membership must be proposed and approved by the management committee.
Active membership fee includes $25 deposit to cover advanced payment for registration cost of skills courses. This deposit may be refundable at the end of the season, depending upon patrol & course attendance during the season.

Lifeguard $50.00
From this season, competing members are to pay their own fees and patrol a minimum of 30 hours (some fees may be paid at the discretion of the committee)

Family Membership
1 child and adult(s) $100.00
2 children and adult(s) $130.00
3 or more children and adult(s) $150.00
All junior surf members must have an adult present under Surf Life Saving New Zealand Health and Safety regulations.
NOTE
A Family membership includes all juniors, seniors, lifeguards and parents/caregivers. e.g. 1 junior, 2 lifeguards and two parents pay $150.00
